Mission Statement

French for the Future is a not-for-profit student-centered educational program which encourages and promotes bilingualism in Canada by highlighting its positive social and career benefits and by forging linguistic and cultural links among students of secondary school age who are enrolled in French-first and second language courses.

French for the Future celebrates local Francophone and Francophile communities and emphasizes the positive career potential resulting from French language education in Canada.
 
French for the Future also works with the business community and encourages business leaders to promote the benefits of bilingualism both in their own workplaces and in their external communications.

French for the Future also cooperates with other like-minded organizations in Canada to plan and promote other French-language related activities and to function as an advocacy group for certain secondary and post-secondary programs.
