Sophie Léger

Sophie Léger is a bilingual singer-songwriter based in the Northwest territories you should check out!
Here are a few words she wanted to share with you:
To be a linguistic minority in the Northwest Territories is definitely an asset and has certainly opened many doors in terms of musical opportunities.
I am often asked to play at special functions because I am Francophone and because people like my music.
Notably, my talent and voice led me to be offered a place among 14 other musicians from the North to represent the NWT at the Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver.
Also, I received a grant to record my second album, A Place in Me.
