Why do you think it is important to learn French? Canada is a bilingual country where knowledge of both official languages is important. One must learn French because of increased opportunities, jobs and the ability to use the French language while travelling to other countries. Also, the brain engages in more activity when it can understand more than one language.

Best experience “en français”:
After finishing grade 11, I travelled to Quebec City to participate in the EXPLORE program, a French immersion summer camp. I went to French classes and participated in activities, such as field trips and fun evening events.

The coolest Francophone country is, in your opinion: France, because it is beautiful.

How you will use your French skills in the future:  I will become a French teacher, teaching at a French immersion school. I will travel around the world and meet other people who speak French.

A place you would like to go:
France.

As a Featured Student, Rebecca received a DVD of  the bilingual movie
Bon cop, Bad cop.
